A RARE 7mm (PINFIRE) TWENTY-SHOT OVER-UNDER LEFAUCHEUX PATENT REVOLVER, serial no.145675,
circa 1870, with superimposed round 6in. barrels with triangular fore-sight, open top frame, the side of breech marked 'E. LEFAUCHEUX INVR BREVETTE', with hinged loading gate and swivelling ejector rod, double-nosed hammer, twenty-shot fluted cylinder, the chambers in two rows, the top row aligns with the top barrel and the bottom row with the lower barrel, folding trigger, chequered walnut broomhandle style grips, folding trigger, action at fault
